What does the Airdrie & District Agricultural Society Offer?

With more than 100 years as a part of the Airdrie community, the Airdrie & District Agricultural Society has plenty to offer. They have been around since 1909 and have provided plenty of programs, events and more to the area.

This organization is a huge supporter of 4-H programs, free Agricultural events and more. It's a non-profit organization promoting education sports, business and family throughout the Airdrie area.

Annual Events

The Airdrie & District Agricultural Society provides many family-friendly events throughout the year. From the Fall Fair to the Art of the Harvest, there are plenty of great choices throughout the year. Some of the events you can enjoy include:

  • Spring Seeding - Held in May
  • Live Auction Fundraiser - Held in June
  • Ranch Hand Competition - Held in July
  • Fall Fair - Horticulture & Bench Show - Held in August
  • Calf Scramble - Held during the Airdrie Pro-Rodeo
  • Art of the Harvest - Held in September
  • And More!

Many other events are held throughout the year by the organization, as well.

Along with the many events, ADAS provides support for other community organizations. They are very involved with the 4-H clubs and provide scholarships for post-secondary education for students. They are also involved with Meals on Wheels, Farm Women and others.

Membership

If you want to support the Airdrie & District Agricultural Society, you can make a donation or become a member. Membership provides many advantages including a using the corporate pass at Genesis Place for a savings of up to $104.15 per year.

Membership is only $5 a year and provides many other benefits. You can attend Director's meetings, work on one of the many committees or just enjoy the many events. Meetings are held in the Airdrie Agricultural Building and members can join any time of the year.
