There are plenty of events happening in and around the Airdrie area. With plenty of venues for concerts, fundraisers and other types of events, residents have plenty to choose from. Here's a look at some of the upcoming events near Airdrie.
Shamrock Shimmy Fundraiser - March 14th from 6pm to 9pm
This event will be held at the Town & Country Center in Airdrie. It will include dinner, dancing and both silent and live auctions. The Irish Dancers will teach you how to perform the Irish dance and you can participate in the 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $50 per person.
Mary Walsh with Special Guest Sharron Matthews - March 10th from 7:30pm to 8:30pm
The Bert Church Live Theater will host the Mary Walsh performance, which will include guest Sharron Matthews. This is a comedy performance from two of the funniest women in Canada. It's a great choice for a night out and provides political satire, musical comedy and much more. Tickets are $37 per person.
White Collar Boxing - March 26th from 6pm to 10pm
The White Collar Boxing event will happen at the Scotia Centre in Calgary. It will include the Airdrie Oilmen's Association presenting the event with Calgary Oil & Gas Sales people facing Local Law Enforcement and Emergency Service Members. Special guests will be on hand, as well.
Prairie Mountain Fiddlers - March 8th from 2:30pm to 3:30pm
The Bert Church Live Theater will host the Prairie Mountain Fiddlers in Airdrie at the end of March. This is a very popular show with plenty of musical fun in store. The old-time fiddle music is a hit with audiences of all ages. Tickets are $16 per person.
