Rico's is a Tapas and Wine restaurant found at 136 First Avenue NE in Airdrie. This restaurant is quite popular and provides a great place to dine. It's bordered by Edmonton Trail and since the restaurant is found in The Village, it's near older homes, mature trees and a place residents enjoy going.

The restaurant is located in an early 1900s home, which was the manse for the next door church at one time. You will enjoy a dining experience like no other in the area. Rico's only seats about 36 guests in the dining room, which provides a fantastic ambiance.

First Airdrie Tapas Restaurant

Rico's was the first Tapas restaurant to open in the Airdrie area. With a warm and inviting atmosphere complimented by amazing dishes from Chef Rico Pacheco, it quickly became the place to go for dates and nights out with friends. You can share tapas with friends, enjoy a little bit of everything and choose wine from the extensive list provided.

The Menu

Tapes originated in Spain and provide a small plate type of dining, which allows guests to try more than just one or two things. Some of the items on the menu include:

  • Cocktail Empanadas
  • Magherita Pizza
  • Pebre and Chips
  • Baked Goat Cheese
  • Jumbo Stuffed Shrimp
  • And More!

The restaurant also provides a dessert menu, which changes each season. The desserts are prepared at Avenue Cakery and Bake Shop.

Events

Rico's provides a venue for small parties and events. You can rent the restaurant for the evening or the entire night or just the upstairs area. Whether you need a place for a birthday party, rehearsal dinner or another type of event, Rico's provides a good choice.
