Attraction Spotlight: Iron Horse Park

Iron Horse Park is a great place for kids and adults in Airdrie. This attraction provides a number of fun things to do. It's based around miniature trains and provides a representation of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Here's what you will discover at Iron Horse Park.

The Train

Take a ride on the 1/8th scale diesel or steam locomotives and enjoy about 1.6km of track. The journey will include plenty of stories about the history of the Canadian Pacific Railway and how the railway was back in the pioneer days. You will ride over hills, through tunnels and across trestles.

The park can be used for some great events, such as birthdays, family reunions, picnics or other events. Iron Horse Park can be booked from mid-May to mid-October for events from 11am to 1pm or from 2pm to 4pm. There are three locations for your event including:

Opening Dates and Information

The park will open on May 17th, 2015 for the season. Currently, Iron Horse Park is taking reservations for birthday parties and there events for the 2015 season. Once the park opens for the season, it will be open from 11am to 4pm every Sunday.
