The Genesis Place is one of the best recreational facilities in the Airdrie area. It's a place with plenty of activities for everybody. From children’s programs to fitness programs and so much more, there's plenty to love about the Genesis Place. Here's a look at what to expect.
Aquatics
The aquatics centre provides plenty of great choices for your pleasure. Some of the attractions in this part of the facility include:
- 25 metre, six-lane swimming pool
- Hot tub
- Leisure pool with lazy river and spray toy features
- Tot Pool
- Dive tank with small slide, aquatic climbing wall and one metre board
- Steam room
- Water slide
- Family changing rooms
- And More!
Along with the facilities, the aquatics centre offers 17 drop-in aquatics classes.
Fitness & Leisure
The fitness & leisure centre provide all types of things to enjoy including:
- A 200 metre indoor track
- A dance studio and Mind Body studio
- Two full-sized gymnasiums
- Two indoor field houses with soccer fields
- The Pepsi Field
- The Shane Homes Field
- The McDonald's Fun Place
- ZuTech child care centre
- Trend room and Rotary room
- And More!
The fitness centre also offers more than 25 drop-in fitness classes every week, a full fitness facility and so much more.
The facilities at the Genesis Place also includes the Twin Arena, which features two NHL size ice surfaces, four meeting rooms, a pro shop, a 250 seat grandstand for each rink and more.
Passes and Information
Passes are available annually, monthly and as punch cards. Three types of pass levels are available including the Annual, Executive and Corporate passes. Passes range from $181.65 to $898.10 per year.
The facility is open from 5:30am to 10pm, Monday through Friday and from 7am to 9pm on Saturday and Sunday. Without a pass, the daily fee ranges from $3.95 to $22.85 depending on your age. The facility is located at 800 East Lake Boulevard NE in Airdrie.
