If you have ever had a chance to visit a Whole Foods store before you'll know what all of the excitement is about. This is an amazing place to buy your groceries since it features organic and natural food in a supermarket-type of setting. This is an exciting announcement and many families, couples and individuals are looking forward to the grand opening.

It's not clear where the new store will be located but we'll find out soon. The company has already picked out the site but won't let the public know the location until June. If you regularly shop for organic or natural foods, you'll want to be on the lookout for the news of the upcoming location that will be released near the beginning of summer.

If you haven't had a chance yet, make sure that you schedule some time to visit the Airdrie Festival of lights this year. It's a Christmas tradition and a great chance to get out and enjoy the holiday spirit with your family.

This is the largest outdoor display of Christmas lights in Western Canada and it will really take your breath away. It's amazing to see all of the lights at this time of the year and is a breathtaking wonderland for both old and young. Besides the lights there are also a variety of other activities available at the festival.

David Loewen has been a busy man for the last three years. He's almost 90 years old and has been spending his time collecting bottles to raise money for charities. After developing a long list of people who have regularly donated bottles to worthy causes, Mr. Loewen is going to be retiring and passing on his legacy to another.

Mr. David Loewen started collecting bottles as a way to get more exercise a few years ago. He went from door-to-door to collect the empty bottles, cans and cartons and donated all of the funds to charity. As the word started to spread, he developed a list of more than 100 clients. When it comes to distracted drivers, Airdrie has more than its fair share of them. In July, 8 groups partnered up with the Alberta Motor Association to see just how many people were driving distracted. According to the president of Airdrie Citizens on Patrol, Ennio Ricci, Airdrie was at the top of the list.

Drivers in Airdrie had a 14.5% distraction rate while the overall number for the province was only 2.4%. More than 90% of the distractions were due to cell phone use. Approximately half of the drivers were texting while the other half were talking on their phones.

Volunteers from COP observed a total of 1,223 vehicles in July on 3 separate occasions. The data shows that 6.9% of the motorists were driving and talking on their handheld phones while
